Finally! My garlic will be pleased.
I scurried off to the local Wyevale today to get brussel sprout seeds for mum (wasn’t going to grow them again but she said she only likes our homegrown ones so worth it for that!) and a 4-tier mini greenhouse – only £14.99 so cheaper than online (and half their normal Wyevale price). It’s taller than the 3-tier one I already have and combined they should fulfil my 2012 sowing and tomato/pepper plans. I then got sucked in and bought a fleece cover for the same greenhouse, a purple flexi bucket, some larger module trays and a copy of GYO magazine. My lovely new hand hoe came on Friday too. This is me trying to save money. My next job is to start a spread sheet of costs.
Can’t remember how far it dates back to (whatever the last post here about it was) but temp has been -2 to +12 degrees inside the old mini greenhouse. Not warm enough for seeds yet 😉
