Little Reanie has joined her best friend Feelix finally. After following her normal up and down health rollercoaster she was having a rocking return to motor mouth (“SQUEAK!”) tendancies over the last few weeks, refuting all rumours of ill health. However over the weekend she took a sudden turn for the worse, and stopped eating (a big thing for Rean). On Tuesday morning I took her to my local vets to say goodbye, and today I took her to the same pet crematorium that Fe was taken to.
Marie (known as Reanie, Mareanie, Re-Re, Motor Mouth, Miracle Pig and Large Piggy to her friends and admirers) got ill 3 years ago and was thought to have no chance then. She since fought repeated pneumonia bouts (and various other illnesses) off repeatedly. She was determination personified and will be missed.
