Thomas, surveying his new realm. Taken my dad today. Thomas has been kept in the garage since we moved in with minor forays into the house for a few minutes, and is now starting the transition back to the outdoors. The thing in the bottom right is his dog kennel 😛 so that he has somewhere to sleep if he gets stuck outside. No expense spared for Daddy’s boy! He’s the only cat that’s mostly outdoors – Chilli is in and out (mostly in) and settled easily into that within about a week and Spock, Alf and Pump when she visits are all indoor. Thom used to live mostly in the garage at old home to keep out of reach of Alfie but he can’t do that here as the garage has no way to provide a cat flap without punching a hole through breeze blocks (not an impossibility). We’ve been using the pheromone spray and diffuser which does seem to be working well for him – so well that it’s run out and we wonder if that’s what’s made him suddenly want to go outside. Apparently as long as there is grass and sunshine, Thomas is at home 😉
