Turn of the Year

So! Christmas is coming, the turkey… isn’t as fat as usual. In fact it’s kinda tiny. Which is perfect! We usually have too many leftovers and get fed up (Ding doesn’t, but I’m sure there will be enough for her ;)) Everything (bar the weather) is going relatively well in the Christmas lead up – I have everything bought that needed to be bought, and only a few things left to make. Not the perfect homemade Christmas I was planning, but I have learned a new recipe – the “cheat’s” Christmas cake (technically a Dundee cake?) from Phil and Kirstie’s Perfect Christmas – and a new skill – origami boxes which make perfect baking paper boxes for said cakes!

I’ve finally managed to move some of the sites over to a small hosting account, hoping eventually to save money (or Monet, as I originally wrote), but am getting some weird errors with images I haven’t sorted out yet. None of the old ones should work, but the banner, the image in this post and the previous post should. Not sure what’s wrong with that…

So onwards – cards to write, parcels to post!
