WE LIKE THA MOON! COZ IT IS CLOSE TO US!*

Taken 19th March, on the night of the Supermoon AKA perigee-syzygy – a full moon (syzygy) when the moon was closest to the Earth (perigee). I only saw it well after moonrise though so didn’t really appreciate much difference. Photo taken using a Casio FH25 on full optical (x20) zoom plus all available digital zoom, handheld (possibly responsible for slight loss of clarity) with shutter priority (lost contrast on surface when in normal mode). Also resized down from 3648 pixels wide 😉 Must try again at some point with the tripod, see if I can get a clear picture of the moon.
