Just watching Jamie’s 30 Minute Meals and liked this recipe so thought I’d take notes 😉
Pizza Dough
1 cup self-raising flour 275g
1/2 cup water
Pinch salt
Drizzle olive oil
- Add everything (some water, not all) to mixer.
- Whizz it up
- Add rest of water, then add little bits of flour until it comes together to make an elastic dough (a little sticky, but not too wet)
- Flour surface
- Bring into ball
- Roll it out, 1cm thick
- Fold it in quarters
- Olive oil in pan (lowish heat)
- Put dough in and unfold it.
- Push it up the sides of the pan (pan is smaller than pizza)
Pizza Sauce
1 tin tomatoes in liquidiser
1 pinch salt
1 garlic clove, crushed
Basil, some
Drip some balsamic vinegar
Olive oil splash
- Add all the above to liquidiser and whizz.
- Put some on pizza base in pan. Should be rising by now.
- Add toppings, don’t overload it. Fennel seeds with salami is nice.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- When underneath is getting crispy, put under grill for 4-5 mins to finish.
