Do do doo doo*

For a cat that can’t walk, she certainly gets from A to B successfully. I’m not sure how she’s doing it as I was worried she was deteriorating, yet I just found she’d moved 6 feet to be under my chair, and at my next glance she’d moved to the cat basket (and ousted His Spockness in the process – clever).

His Spockness is getting all chunky. Not fat – but he’s slowed his upward growth and is now bulking up a bit. I have to decide when to neuter him. I’ve no reservations about neutering other people’s animals, but it’s a bit different when it comes to your own furkid! Also I get silly when my animals are in the hospital – I get flustered and fall over boxes etc.

Time off coming up! I had all grand plans…er…planned, but the closer it gets the more inclined I am to spend it sleeping. Like today – I had a day off and spent most of it in bed, only getting up when a certain someone sat on my head repeatedly. I don’t think he actually wanted me to get up, he just tends to view me as something to sit on. Apparently I don’t need to breathe.

Christmas is coming, the turkey’s been ordered! And I can’t think of something that rhymes with ordered!

*AKA Kai can’t think of a post title.

And for no good reason. This will probably catch up with me by lunchtime…

I found a good HP fanfic at about 5pm yesterday and 14 hours later I’m still reading it. I stopped briefly to eat dinner at home home and then travel to other home, but other than that it’s been continuous.

I am now viewing the new day from the wrong side with the delerious optimism of the sleep deprived. Although the thought of consulting fills me with disquiet for some reason (and did yesterday evening also). Odd.

Crazy cat lady
Pumpkin & Spock

And so, I’ve become a mad cat lady. Above on the left is Pumpkin, my new kitten, a 6 month old stray with deformed legs who can’t walk properly. She’s a happy little soul who likes to growl at Spock’s attempts to play, and manages to cope with all the required cat things like eating, drinking, litter tray and playing, so she’s getting a chance here.

True cat woman status was confirmed when I found myself in Tesco’s buying posh little Whiskas treats and cat milk for the pair. Spock spent the night after vomiting up said treats and milk all over the flat, so he is now restricted to James WellBeloved natural treats – no milk, gluten, wheat etc in site. Pumpkin however gets to nosh on all the Whiskas treats and milk herself, thereby making her an extremely happy kitty.

Hello, my name’s Kai, and I’m a mad cat lady.
