Well, her thyroxine is anyway! This is good, as she’s been on the treatment for half a year now. She’ll be impressed she doesn’t have to take more than 4 pills a day anywho!

Argle – I hate deadlines. They do whoosh past so. And they seem to be converging on me from many sides. On the plus, me and AnM finally managed to book our skiing holiday for this year, and only 2 1/2 weeks away AND the whole deal including half board for under £400. Oh yeah.

Back to the grind…

I just had that sinking feeling when you click send, realise that you have replied to the wrong email, and you suddenly have to learn very quickly how to recall emails before the unintended recipient reads it… To compound the issue, my email consisted of the single line:

“Are you attending numerous today? If so, are you partaking of banana beforehand?”

… O.O

The seminar invite that comes around always ends with the slightly pseudo-English line, “Please attend numerous”, and me and the intended recipient generally meet for lunch beforehand, where she eats a banana. See? All perfectly sensible, mature and professional…
