Busy weekend! Crocheted til I ran out of wool, twice, made gluten-free rolls (bit sweet but nice otherwise), planted garlic, shallots and winter onions in modules, and planted broad beans in a manure trial. The manure trial is to confirm the horse manure I’ve picked up isn’t contaminated with weedkiller – pretty important.
Also booted up an old Toshiba Satellite 4000CDS from 1999 – I bought it off a friend a few years ago to play Dungeon Keeper on, but then got DK to work via DOSBox. However I found Discworld Noir which will not work in Vista in any way, shape or form. The old Win98 Tosh runs it perfectly! Even the battery is in reasonable shape. Screen’s a bit fatigued but an external would fix that if it becomes an issue. Very impressed with the ancient thing – good on it. It also boots faster than my Vista…
