My Dad spoke. He pointed out that the problem with my current laptop is that it overheated. This being a trend in laptops he queried my decision to get another one. I then said, “yes but desktops are more expensive (ironically) as I’d need a flat screen for my tiny tiny desk”. Apparently we have a spare flat screen at home. Ok. Ding then supported the arguement with the well made point – if I buy a desktop, I’m not duplicating my laptop and my expensive doorstop actually still has a minor role in my life when I want mobility (but don’t necessarily require long term stability).
So Kai is getting a cheap desktop. And herein begins the second loop if searching for the ideal computer…
In other news, I’m a member of the Final Year Revue Committee – god only knows why! I wanted to be involved in something for once, I guess. I’m the only camera person at present o.O and I’m doing posters and tickets and what not too. So all fun. We get t-shirts with our jobs on.
There’s a huge spider on my wall. Well, it was on my wall near my bed. I decided to chat to AnM rather than catch it and now it’s buggered off. Worrying…
I have a new housemate! She seems nice. We have a full house now. Plus she seems to like cooking 😀 which is always a good thing. Though she doesn’t like alcohol or tea. We could have a problem there…
I suppose I should go to bed. This going to bed at 2-3am is not working out well for me…
