Finals Countdown

Soooo cold. It’s officially 15 degrees C in my bedroom. That’s with the radiator on 5 and my computer going. Even rabbit has taken to sitting under the radiator, which perhaps tells me it’s getting beyound a joke. I could cling film the window… *goes on clingy crusade*

Clingy crusade complete, my window is now triple glazed. I have also increased the efficiency of my window blanket, which now is much closer to the window, thus eliminating those pesky draughts.

So, what am I up to. I made a pillow for Ding, which was peacock blue with a peacock outlined in gold fabric paint and little bead highlights. That was her b’day present.

I’m on Farm rotation at the moment; just finished week 3 of 4. Which means I’ve got 5 weeks to go of rotations. Crikey… Joyously our first non-rotation event is exams.

There’s not a lot to tell really. I must be a very boring person. Rotations are fun, one housemate is great, the other two are messy and wasteful but otherwise ok, rabbit was ill but is now fine. The big things in my life are organising my last 3 weeks of EMS at vet practices for which the deadline is looming, and getting references for my job application. And that’s scary… it’s hard to ask for references when you aren’t sure if the person in question even remembers you… :-/
