Having been warned by Farm that they mark lower that other rotations I am happy to report that I got a good mark and they haven’t in fact brought my average down! Apparently getting an A is rare – I’ll have to ask others to find out if this is true.
Small Animal General – 69% (C B C C C C)
Pathology – 81% (B B B B B C)
Equine Medicine – 78% (B C B C B B)
Anaesthesia – 86% (B B B B B A)
Small Animal Medicine – 86% (B B B B B A)
Equine Surgery – 81% (B C B C B A)
Small Animal Surgery – 78% (B C C C B A)
Farm Animal – 78% (C C B A B C)
Running average = 79.62%. One more rotation to go O.O
Wards today was stressful. My nice clean labcoat that my mother had ironed lovingly got covered in pee, poo and blood within about 5 minutes. So that’s now back in the wash in an attempt to get it washed and dried before tomorrow. I do have spares but I prefer that one. Plus the spare has black stains on the cuffs that won’t shift either. I’ll never understand why people who work with animals and are the target of daily poo, pee, blood and vomit attacks should be required to wear white…
Domesticated housemate is cooking dinner tonight! I prepared the chicken a la Jamie Oliver with butter, salt and herbs and she’s cooking the rest. Saffron rice thingy with greek yoghurt or so I’m told. Where’s my tea? Ah found it. Having the rabbit cage bound has allowed me to use my floor for putting things on, and I’m taking full advantage of it – I can’t close my door. Anyway, for pudding we have Gu – chocolate hot souffle pudding – looks yum and currently reduced in Tescos! It kinda looks like the one on the M&S pre-Christmas adverts. Plus they come in real glass ramikins. So basically, that’s two glass ramikins for £1.49, with two free chocolate puddings included. Bargain.
Right, I’m off to tidy my room, clean the invalid, drug her up and make her some dindins. Soupy twist!
