Dizzy, my head is spinning…

*drags self back to life*

Me bad blogger. Failing at blogging of late.

So, old job finished. I got some lovely cards and pressies including a gorgeous fob-watch (medical fob-watch a la nurse, not gold fob-watch circa 1880, obviously) with my name and a message engraved on it. Veh nice. Feels like a bit of an anti-climax – I’m not one for getting all tearful or emotional over leaving a place I’ve been in 13.5 months so it was very much a “Bye then, see you around!” parting. I start my new job in just over a week.

In the meantime I’m trying to declutter my life – I have my entire flat contents the front room, my car and Dad’s car, which I try to declutter my room and fit (as Mum keeps saying) a quart into a pint pot. It’s like one of those sliding tiles games – I don’t have enough boxes to put the things I’m keeping in so there are tesco’s bags full of randoms everywhere. Plan is to redecorate my room as well. Life is made more complicated by the fact that Ding’s room is being redecorated at the same time, so all her belongings are also scattered around the house.

Plus I’m still ill – coldy, get tired easily. Loads to do online, no inclination to do anything. Failing a lot today.
Went to Ding and Dong’s last weekend with Mum, stayed over and went shopping in Soton on Sunday. I didn’t buy a single Christmas pressent – failed! Was a very nice visit, though I suspect I wasn’t the best company as was tired and coldy and so rather laconic. Lovely food though.

Been reliving the past with old abandonware – been playing Dizzy – finished Yolk Folk, Magicland and Fantasy World but can’t stand Fantastic Adventures or the mini games – they deviate from the trueness that is Dizzy. Love abandonware – great times!

So are you head of veterinary services at Veterinary University in Veterinary Road, Veterinarysville?

Ya RLY. On an Amiga too.

Nah, mostly one step up from a dog. Which is an improvement over the last time I was there, when I was several steps under the dog in the hierarchy of the vet world.
