1138 + 894 + 746 + 536 + 593 (the three smallest together) = 3907g of courgette. That’s 8.6lbs in old money – weight of larger than average baby, and grown from too-small-to-eat to marrow in a week. And that’s all on top of the 478g one left over from last weekend. There is only so much courgette a family needs. As I’m the only one who really eats it regularly, I have a lot of courgette to get through before the next lot are ready next weekend… I even picked the babies today to try and slow the blasted things down a bit. I might palm one off on my vegan friend… she probably likes marrows…
