I’m cat sitting for the bank holiday weekend. Although generally unimpressed with the kitten, the rabbit seems to be tolerating it’s presence. In fact, kitten is far more terrified of the herbivore prey animal than the herbivore prey animal is of the miniturised carnivorous predator.
Tonight. Prettiness. Note closeness of mobile phone tower. Keeps us happy and glowing.
Week 5 of 48 (Equine Medicine & Abulatory) went well. I had to work on Saturday, 7.30-18.45 (got back just in time for Doctor Who) and I have to work Monday night (as in 8pm-8am). Whether I literally work all night or whether I come in every few hours depends on what’s in. Shame that after week 8 of 48 my little group of 6 will have to merge with it’s sister group and we become a mega group of 13. My little group is a good group – we’ve a good sense of clinical responsibility as well as all of us being pretty alturistic in a “yeah I’ll stay til 7 to help you with your case even though I was finished at 5” way. Plus we’re exceptionally organised – we work with surgery students on out of hours shifts and they obviously aren’t as busy as us during their days as they haven’t learned efficiency from necessity yet. Understandable really – it’s their first real clinical rotation and it’s our second. However our first was a the diet coke of clinical, so they haven’t got much excuse…
