Anyone else watching the snooker? By choice? I’m loving it! Might have something to do with thinking Ronnie the Rocket is fantabulous – absolute genius, and suitably unpredictable that it makes very good telly too.
TV of this evening though has got to be Have I Got News For You with Brian Blessed – brilliant – if you aren’t watching it (as I am right now) either iplayer or you tube it as it is extremely amusering. 🙂
I have always watched the snooker, ever since I was a wee lad. Everyone knows I will go nowhere/do nothing for those few weeks, and more so during the final, up soon. Excellent! Some day I will make the pilgrimage to Sheffield.
I missed HIGNFY, but will watch the extended one this eve. It did cause us, in work today, to all bellow ‘RUBBISH!’ and ‘GORDON’S ALIVE?’ over and over again. 🙂
Having spent the morning watching Badminton (the horse trials, not the shuttlecock business) and this afternoon watching the Snook, anyone would think I liked sport. Truth is, the only mildly sport related things I do are swimming, horse riding (though not so much lately) and darts. And chess, though no one will play with me these days. Snooker is somewhat like chess *muses* you can play one shot at a time, but the winners plan ahead.
Anywho – both the geegees and the balls have distracted me sufficiently from the two areas of work I had to do today. Three areas – planning for interview, catching up with project and planting 30 marigolds. Should probably start achieving at least some of those jobs…
