Week and weekend just gone, 4-22 degC and the broad beans in the mini green house, and the onions and some shallots on the step all growing like weeds. No difference between manured and non-matured beans so looks like the manure is safe, yay! Must get them all into allotment when bending and lifting not so much of an issue.
We (Mum, Nan, Aunt, Ding and I) went to see Midsummer Night’s Dream at Stratford-Upon-Avon this weekend which was lovely! Got to stay at Ding and Dong’s too – they feed us well – nom. The only bad point was my back being so bad – at times a 6 or even 7 on the Hyperbole-and-a-Half visual pain scale. It’s at a 1 or occasional 2 today, but that’s because I have done no sitting and very little standing. Bored of bad back now!
