My blog is being uber-spammed at the moment. I had a spam blocker installed that seemed to work by welcoming bots, allowing them to comment and then wiping their comments. Then the blocker stopped working – the spam got clever. So whereas before the bots didn’t know I was here they now do, and I get 300 or so a day. My only defence is a word blacklist, so please be advised that if you use the following words in a comment your comment will be eaten by the Sock Monster and will never see the light of day. I won’t even see it. It’ll be dead, deceased, an ex-comment.
