Bombs, Markets, Hampstead Heath & Indoor BBQs

And in case you thought it was a joke…

Today I got up early (9.30 is early!) and went to St Albans farmers’ market with Little Chef and her brother. Fab market – would recommend it. Only on once a month sadly so I have to wait 4 weeks for the next one. After that we went to Hampstead Heath to walk the dog, who had much fun harassing and being harassed by other dogs and joy of joy no one was mauled! I’m happier having her off-lead now – she doesn’t jump up at strangers and implant muddy feet on them (except men who say hello to her and imo that’s their own foolishness) and she would rather run away from dogs than fight them – even when faced with a trio of a doberman, a mastiff and a miniature schnauzer. I was impressed!

Home for a quick snooze then back to Little Chef’s for a BBQ, except (being wild and outrageous vet students) we cooked our food (bought at the market) under the grill and ate it in the lounge watching Top Gear. Oh the high life! I’m sure we impressed her brother no end, what with our dismal performance of 8 vet students falling asleep by 10pm at the pub last night. 10pm? That’s an hour past my bedtime I’ll have you know!
