This month in…

I realise I’ve just written a huge post but I’ve been reading through this Blog of Ages and thought I’d summarise August since 2004.

We go on holiday to the French Alps, I lament my lack of French and that a second language at GCSE was no longer required, and I talk about going to LT’s wedding.

We (sans Ding) went on holiday to Orleans, in France (noticing a pattern). I commented on how often I burned myself on ovens and other hot surfaces, and I wrote a lot about my holiday at Nan’s with Mum. Dad passed his pilot’s licence, and it rained a bit.

I now have a job, a proper one, and a certain new black kitten gets adopted and named. I lost my blog, but got it back.

I am leaving my job, and have no idea where I’ll be working next. I bought Sugarbabes’s songs on iTunes.

I am leaving my job, again (different job btw), my parents decide they are moving, and I visit AnM and Mersea. We’re mourning the loss of Feelix the previous month.

I have another new cat, a 3-legged Bengal, and I went self-sufficiently barmy with blackberries, elderberries, chutney, potatoes, tomatoes, chillies and a cat in a bush.

I have a flat tyre and a bent wheel, I move out of my little flat in Welwyn (sadface 🙁 ), the cats settle into my parent’s new house (note, the move was first mentioned in August 2008), more tomatoes, and I drink a whole bottle of coke in an evening.

I am an evil overlord, I worry about fish, I make jam, I look at the sky a bit.
